9th	At a morning assembly Head Priest said, “There is truth in what you feel now.”
	10th	At a Dharma meeting Head Priest stated, “If you are feeling lost and confused, what you should do is just bow and listen humbly.”
	11th	A girl student from Kagoshima said at a morning assembly, “True happiness is, I think, knowing there is a place I can joyfully return to.”
	12th	A girl student from Kagoshima said at a morning assembly, “When I returned home I found myself understanding my parents’ minds. Whilst pronouncing the nembutsu together with them in front of the Buddha, my mind became peaceful.”
	13th	At a morning assembly Head Priest said, “When truth is given life it is “true and real”.
	14th	At a morning assembly Head Priest said, “When you treasure what you hear from others, your own words will be given new life.”
	15th	At a morning assembly Head Priest said, “Although the truth has already given us, the problem is whether or not we can feel it. When we can feel the truth in every corner of our body, then the Buddha-dharma is brought to life.”
	16th	Head Priest said at a Dharma meeting, “Buddhism is simply awakening to one’s original self.”
	17th	Head Priest also said at a morning assembly, “If you can always say “Please look, this is me”, such an open attitude is the basic principle of the Samgha.”
	18th	Head Priest stated at a women’s assembly, “The essence of Buddhism is said to lie in selflessness. Simply put this means ‘non-attachment’.”
	19th	Head Priest also said at a women’s assembly, “True thoughtfulness comes from the way people try and understand one another. Therefore, thoughtfulness will be found to be the foundation of true encounter.”
	20th	Head Priest stated at a women’s assembly, “If you understand how ignorant you are, then everything will become a lesson and you will find the enthusiasm to study.”
	21st	Head Priest stated at Hinosato Dojo, “Buddhism is both practising the realization of peace and preserving traditional culture in everyday life.”
	22nd	Head Priest’ said at a morning assembly, “If your words are living, their life will be imparted to those that receive them.”
	23rd	Head Priest stated at a women’s assembly, “If you approach people with the attitude that you are going to teach them, you will trample on their feelings. Your pride that makes you think that you understand hurts their lives.”
	24th	Head Priest said at a women’s assembly, “Your ordinary attitude to life should be kept for you to encourage others to speak to you.”
	25th	Mr Jigme from the U.S.A. said, “The true power of Buddhism seems to manifest itself within this temple.”
	26th	Mr Jigme from the U.S.A. also said, “There are wonderful lessons to be learned in this temple filled as it is with the Buddha’s compassion and prayer for world peace.”
	27th	Head Priest stated at a women’s assembly, “Encountering your original self does not mean you remain selfish. If you have attained faith you can go beyond personal selfishness.”
	28th	Head Priest stated at a women’s assembly, “Understanding that our ignorance is innate, we can ask about life from this awareness. Then a new door will open in our lives.”
	29th	A lecturer said in his talk given at a monthly Dharma meeting, “There is a saying, ‘Listen to the Buddha-dharma through every pore of your body!’ What it actually means is that only the understanding gained in this way is genuine.”
	30th	On completing his training and leaving the temple, a monk said, “I spent an extremely happy time being watched over, kindly guided and admonished.”
