Shogyoji has received many long-term visitors from foreign countries all of whom seem to have got on well together and learned to understand one another through living their daily lives alongside others in the Samgha. As is born out by the establishment of a Buddhist centre in the U.K. as well as by recent overseas student exchanges with Korean temples, the concept of international spiritual exchange, surmounting the barriers of religion, race and nationality, is becoming more and more of a reality.
