Priest.
After the final daytime service of the Eitaikyo Ceremony, which had been
held from 17th to 20th, we moved to the Buddha Room of the 'Seiwa Taya'.

Construction workers and architects joined the ceremony.
A lot of the followers of Shogyoji Temple gathered for the service. There
were more followers who participated in the event from the dining room as
the Buddha room was full.

The architect originally designed the approach in a straight line. Mr. Masami
Oguchi, Master Landscaper, advised us that the traditional approach to Japanese
houses should be a curved.

Ancient roof tiles (kawara), were excavated at the site of the 'Seiwa Taya'.
Head Priest suggested using replicas of these tiles being installed as a
memory of ancient times in the entrance hall. |

The impressive roofs, which describe gentle curves, are covered with roof
tiles (Kawara). Kawara were originally made from pottery, but these modern
Kawara are made from stainless steel and given a coat of blue-green paint. |
